I've seen this feature on a lot of Beauty Blogs just lately, and being the curious type I love knowing what is in my fellow bloggers bags!
So I thought I would give it a go and let you all take a look inside my bag and see what I carry around with me everywhere!
|Bag - £10, Primark|
I fell in love with this bag in Primark a few weeks ago and for £10 it was an absolute steal. Its actually cream coloured, the flash on my camera doesn't do it much justice.
You have two handles so you can carry it and a detachable strap so you can wear it on the shoulder.
The opening has a turning clasp which I love, and inside you have a zip pocket which is quite large, anyway, bottom line is I LOVE THIS BAG.
So lets see what I have inside!
So not too much clutter, I did actually empty a load of receipts and train tickets out of there from the last few weeks and a little bag of sweets that had gone sticky inside the bag and had congealed (gross)
So first up we have Boots own SkinClear Oil-Absorbing Sheets. I carry these around because as mentioned before I do get a very oily T-Zone.
These little beauts save the day when I get a bit oily!
|Boots - £3.99|
The little card envelope contains 50 sheets that are 80mm x 55mm and when you want a sheet you just tear one out.
The sheets are very soft and contain salicylic acid that help prevent spots which is very handy!
You can use these sheets at any time of the day or night and they don't even smudge your make up, leaving you with a natural matte finish.
Up next we have my newest purchase Maybelline's new lip balm - Baby Lips.
I'm a sucker for buying lip balms and a fool for keeping them in my pockets and losing them on the bus.
So I had heard about these on many blogs and just had to grab one, which I did this weekend while in Boots. These cost £2.99 each and I love them!
I bought 'Cherry Me' which smells divine!
Baby Lips makes my lips so soft and it gives a hint of colour.
I carry lip balm around with me all year round, and its especially important to keep your lips moisturised in this cold weather, when it can chap your lips.
Then we have MAC's Ruby Woo lipstick which I keep in my bag for when I feel like vamping up my face.
The formula is creamy to apply and has a matte finish. I love this lipstick so much, its such a gorgeous sailor red. This cost me £14, which I think is suitable for such a great brand, although I do think you pay for the packaging as well as the quality.
And next to Ruby Woo we have a tube of Hand Food from Soap & Glory.
Soap & Glory were my first cosmetic love a few years ago, I was introduced to this brand by my cousin - Kelly. And its been true love ever since.
Hand Food is a godsend in any kind of weather, its light, its creamy, it smells wonderful and does exactly what it says on the tin and keeps my hands so soft and supple.
This costs £5 from Boots.
Again, with the cold months setting in you need to keep your donnies moisturised and the job I do requires me to moisturise a good 3 to 4 times a day, so this gem does the trick!
We now have my most recently purchased perfume, Instinct from Avon - £15.
This perfume has a beautiful smell to it and I always carry it around to keep myself smelling fresh all day.
I always carry my iPod around with me, seeing that I use public transport a lot, I love to stick my earphones in and drift away to my music, I listen to something different everyday, I have around 1,500 songs on there so I can listen to something different!
I can't forget me purse! I had this in January so it's looking a little battered now.
I had this from River Island which cost me £8.
It has a zip compartment for all your coins, 8 slots for all your cards and a clear pocket to store a few pictures and finally you have a large slot at the back of the credit card slots where you can keep your cash notes.
I usually keep a couple of hair bands in my bag for when my hair just get on my nerves.
Some days it just doesn't go right so the hair bands are a saviour, so I can just tie it up.
I always grab a pack of these from Primark, there are about 50 hair bands for around £1.
Always important to have a nail file in my bag for those broken nail emergencies, because lets face it, its highly unattractive to be sat on the bus chewing your nails, isn't it?
I get a pack of these from Sainsbury's for 99p.
My weekly buspass. Gets me to and from work and into town when I need to, this costs me £14 a week, so I always have to carry it around with me.
I keep my little compact of Benefit's 'Hello Flawless!' in my bag at all times, to cover up blemishes and for the little mirror inside the lid.
The shade I have is Ivory and it comes with a brush and a sponge to apply.
I bought this back in March and it cost me £25.50.
I know that its expensive for a face powder, but it was part of a well deserved splurge and as mentioned before, I don't mind paying for Benefit products as they are brilliant quality.
And last but not least, we have quite possibly one of the most important items in my bag. A spare lighter!
Being a smoker, it can be a pain in the backside when you lose or break the only lighter you have on you, and I hate going up to people and asking to use their lighter!
So I always keep a spare in my bag for when those times strike!
So there we have the contents of my bag!
I hope you enjoyed this post!
